Turners Hill is a small and vibrant village set in the beautiful Mid Sussex countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty and located close to The Ashdown Forest.

As one of the highest points around, there are impressive views from the centre of the village to both the North and South Downs.

The village centre, with its village green, is a designated conservation area, which together with the shops and The Crown pub, forms the focal point. The older parts of the village have retained a character and charm of their own. Many buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Although a compact village, it boasts three pubs, St Leonard;s Church, a village store and a post office alongside a well reviewed florist and an Indian restaurant.

In addition, there is a popular recreation ground with football, netball and tennis facilities and the village cricket club has its own dedicated ground. The Ark is a delightful purpose-built modern community centre available for receptions, conferences, parties and celebrations.

The elegant Jacobean Alexander Hotel is set within 120 acres of beautiful grounds and offers luxury spa and fitness facilities.

Turners Hill School is a primary school at the heart of the village and has developed strong links with, and is well supported by, the local community. Secondary Imberhorne School is a short drive away. Nearby Worth School is one of the top independent senior day and boarding schools for both boys and girls.

Further afield, the area is also well served with excellent independent and state schools including Great Walstead, Cumnor House, Ardingly College, Burgess Hill School for Girls, Hurstpierpoint College, Brighton College, Downlands Community School and Warden Park Academy.

Turners Hill is approximately five minutes drive from the A264 which, in turn, runs a short drive east to Junction10 of the M23 and west to East Grinstead and the A22.

The M23 gives fast access south to Brighton via the A23 and north to Gatwick Airport, the M25 and the National Motorway network beyond.

For rail travellers, Three Bridges mainline station provides excellent links to London Bridge, London Victoria, London St Pancras, Gatwick International Airport and Brighton. Alternatively, East Grinstead provides a fast service to London Victoria.
